      I decided to bike mostly solo today and meet Patrick at camp. I feel like I'm missing some opportunities when I'm following him. I was cranking up a steep section through a neighborhood when an old man started talking to me. I stopped and had a conversation with him through traffic.       ... our way back to the campground we went over to see Lake Oneida and Sylvan Beach. The beach area also has an amusement park located across the parking lot. The area had a lot of tourists and people seemed to be enjoying the lake and beach area.
