... Roger kitty. Most of us know it's not the greatest joy to scoop a litter box but we do it because we love our cats. Poor things had to deal with runny poop on the bed! We are really concerned about him and discussed turning around but there's nothing we can do more than the Germans already are. We are hoping it's just a parasite or something similar and not anything more serious.

Finally we cross the state line and enter California. We stop off to visit Lake Tahoe. Its ever so nice. Pristine emerald and blue water surrounded by pine trees. What a beautiful place.
These mountain roads are something else, with scenery that is just breathtaking. We dont get into Redding till after 7pm, and find this really nice RV park off the highway and out of town. Doesnt take long to set up the tent, while Gerry is already set up with her camper van.

On our way we headed through the Oregon Redwoods and stopped at the Trees of mystery. This is a must see and the trees are amazing!. After leaving the redwoods we continued to head towards our next night stop in Redding. We ...

... capped mountains and probably had the quickest greens we have played on for the whole trip. We played with a local member and one of the golf shop staff. The weather and our company was great but our games need a little work before we hit the tee at Bandon Dunes!

Tomorrow we are off to Eugene, Oregon. It is about a 5 hour drive north from Redding. We will spend a couple of days there before we head to the coast and make a 3 day stop in Bandon, Oregon.

    California, here I come!

Catching up again. First town I came to was Crescent City, which had signs everywhere explaining what to do in the event of earthquake/ tsunami warnings ( 34 tsunamis have hit here since 1933). Welcome to California! I have decided that the state's nine Nat. Parks and the drives between them will be enough to satisfy me for now. My first stop was Redwood Nat. Park, not too impressed. It's a forest ...
