Next up was Skull Cave. It was named for all the remains found inside, including 2 human skeletons! This one had an ice floor in it. Apparently, some of the caves are so large and deep that the cold winter air sinks to the bottom of the cave, and stays insulated by the ground around it through the whole summer. Catching up again. First town I came to was Crescent City, which had signs everywhere explaining what to do in the event of earthquake/ tsunami warnings ( 34 tsunamis have hit here since 1933). Spending the day in town. Started early with a Segway tour over the Sundial bridge. It was a 1/2 hr of fun early before the heat was on. Right now we're in a shopping mall.
