    ... talk with us ... I leave at 7.30pm as planned and the meeting continues on without me. Home, the two of us enjoy a delish birthday dinner with Simon :) beautifully cooked cattlemans cutlets, steamed veggies and Grahams home made chips. Simon thought they were the best chips ever :) Simon loved his Lego Watch :) :) :) We love our gorgeous 29 year old Simon :) xoxo And we wish him a wonderful and successful year ahead ...

    ... attention - like a brand new awning because the original was beyond fixing, etc. None of this was a major problem but for our silly attempt at a quick getaway. Don't get us wrong the RV Centre were very apologetic and supportive (with a full tank of diesel for example). They're nice people to deal with and we'd go back to them if ever we needed a new van. But, the upshot of the delays was that we finally got away at 3:30pm.

    So, how did Le Van behave? Like a lady! ...

    Sightseeing time in Sydney including a bridge climb. But the best of the day was to see Lona again after 5 years. I had a lovely evening with her including lot of chatting and checking out her rented flat in Sydney. I have to say that I'm really jealous about the flat. Directed at the waterfront opposite the Oprahouse. Best view ever from the roof ...

    ... wine and a lively and enjoyable conversation - it is really great when a group gels as well as we did today.

    As the weather still hadn't improved Rob took us to a Cultural Centre in time to hear from an Aboriginal family about their history and culture plus see some of their dancing (watch video attached) and didgeridoo playing.

    If the weather had improved we would have been able to view the valley with the Three Sisters, but the cloud was still too low. However, ...

    ... soo steep and a lot of it was steps so had to be so careful. From there we went on a couple more walks to see some waterfalls I the area of Katoomba. They were pretty cool. You could walk up certain parts of them which was cool. That night there was a huge storm. Ben spent most of the night trying to get pictures of the lightening.

    The next day was quite cloudy but it was so hot and humid. We decided to do 2 separate walks that day. Out first ...
