We returned safely to the hotel, got showered and then went for dinner to one of the Italian restaurants on the front.Again, it was very busy with lots of families out for the night, it was nice to see so many families and people out just enjoying the coolness of the evening. We throughly enjoyed our day looking around Dubai, but mainly to our guide, who gave us an insight into Dubai we would never have seen. Thanks ...

... we headed for the Botanical Gardens which were beautifully manicured and enjoyed a lazy few hours wandering around the parks and gardens until we reached Mrs Macquarie’s Point. This is a great spot for a picnic and the perfect view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background.
