Five weeks till departure. Not quite countdown time yet, but it is getting close and the excitement is building! There was no blogging over the last month, however, I did have a small matter of an MBA degree to attain! Finally, after 5 years of painful "learning", countless hours at the library, and several exams, pointless as it all may seem, I now have a masters degree in business. Anyway, back to the hostel and we headed down to Darling Harbour where there's fireworks every Saturday night. I love Darling Harbour!! Gonna be so weird when we all move on, next week there'll only be a couple of us left in Sydney but we're all heading up the East Coast at various times so I'm sure we'll bump into each other again and ...
... and I had a delicious lunch in the cafe. We sat outside in the sun and reflected on our trip.
A short drive into Sydney and we were checked in for our overnight stay before flying out today. We had our last dinner together in the hotel dining room.
All in all, a great trip made a bit bittersweet by the knowledge that none of us would be coming back.
