If all goes well we will arrive in New Orleans tomorrow afternoon and plan to be having dinner at Emeril's. While I have been to New Orleans several times, all but one visit has been for business. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the town, outside hotel meeting rooms and the obvious places that cater to mainly out of town business people.

Rushmore, which neither of us has seen, Chicago to visit the kids and grandkids for Labor Day, Nashville, the home of Mary's favorite music and finally back home. ... entertained by an adorable otter for over 10 minutes, though he scarpered when we came within a couple of meters. The rest of the trip was much the same, but a 10 minute downpour as we finished naturally kept things interesting. Oddly enough we returned to juniper springs, for a dip in a swimming hole, before returning to the hotel before the weather got nasty.

Another reason why this storm is so 'hot' is that it will probably hit the Republic National Convention on Monday(http://www.gopconvention2012.com ). That convention will be held in Tampa Florida, and you can guess once where the storm will go... Right Tampa!
