... and museum shops and later on an ice cream parlour. We were waiting for it to get dark and the lighting of literally thousands of lights. There were entertainers on the pedestrian malls and it was all quite magical.

It turned out to be another gorgeous day even though I set out for my first line dance class in the fog. Since the class was at the Laurel Manor Rec Centre I walked over in the fog and left with my head spinning in the sun. ... Country Club restaurant as it was advertised as all fish. We had to wait for 20 minutes - what a hardship - sitting in comfy rattan furniture with good company and watching the sun set. We ended up with a perfect corner table and enjoyed our dinners al frescoe. What a pleasant evening. I had forgotten but Richard and I had visited this Club three years ago and it was here that we'd witnessed the space shuttle launch. Once we entered the dining room it all came back to me.
