... her spades. Its lovely being around my beautiful mama.
At night I hang in Casey's room with him and Shawna, just like old times. Casey and I play guitar a bit while Toots sits and watch. We watch a bunch of scary movies and its really getting me in the mood for Halloween. I also watch The Motorcycle Diaries which is a pleasure to watch after traveling 1/2 the places ...
... see the native bear but unfortunately (maybe fortunately) they were hiding. We did find loads of spiders which loved building webs across the track. Adrian went first! There were also loads of forest frogs on the tracks which I loved. Very cute!
Ocala National Forest is beautiful and would be a great place to camp and fish although we were glad to be on the move the next day.
... the Lippazaners at the Spanish Riding School. We missed the performance the last time there. Next we are on a 9 hour train trip to Chur in Switzerland and stay the night. This will be the starting point of the ...
The Villages, Florida, United States lafalotLeft Clearwater and travelled to Homosassa. Here we visited the state park. Homosassa is renowned for it's manatees. Six are resident but thousands gather in Jan/Feb. The manatees are wonderful, iconic and gentle mammals that do not eat meat. They have no predators (other than the actions of man) Travelled on an aluminium electric boat down a creek to the main entrance. The park also has alligators ...

Ocala, Florida, United States white-travelsLittle did we know when we arrived here nearly a week ago what we were getting into. I can honestly say it's been thoroughly enjoyable and we're sorry to be leaving tomorrow. Today was St. Patrick's Day and boy did everyone get into the spirit of things. While the "Villagers" don't need an excuse to have fun they sure went all out today. They started setting up spots to sit hours before the parade and the streets were lined with golf cars backed in creating seating for observers. I've ...
Lady Lake, Florida, United States 9lives... excited because the weather in AR was in the 50s still and here in FL it was in the 80s. We mostly worked on two homes. My team did the insulation and ground work. The other team did the rooftops mostly. It was really nice to know that we were giving back to those in need. Well, you must be thinking that with all that work there was no time for play, oh contrar, there was ...
Ocala, Florida, United States maestratravlerOur first trip ever in an Rv was to a Nat'l Recreation Area within 20 miles of Palatka, FL, our home town. Great place, don't get lost on the Bear Swamp Trail like we did. There are over 100 rv sites plus over 40 tent sites. The springs were very interesting, if crowded. NOTE: As of now, July 2009, they are being reworked. I hope they don't scare off the otter family that swam with us.
The camping area is spacious, particularly behind the sites.
... time. I was about three quarters of the way back by the time I conquered the technology. Occasionally I tried to take a bite from the 'sub' I bought back in Marathon but it was so solidly packed full of food that every attempt to bite on it set off an explosion of lettuce and tomatoes in the car. An indication that I got good value for money perhaps. Finally got back to my brother's and foresee a blissful evening of doing nothing!
Royal Palm Beach, Florida, United States mihangelThe next morning, when the Monaco mechanics started checking things out, they discovered that the power inverter was kaput (not too clear what happened first, the inverter caused the fire or their replacement work fried the inverter), either way it had to be replaced. Between one thing or another, it didn't get fixed until about a week and a half later! Meanwhile, we only had partial power for some of our appliances and we ...
