20 years later and finally make it back to Kentucky!! Even though the last time I saw my family here I was 8 years old, It seems like everyone is just the way I remember them. It's amazingly comforting. We stopped on Lovers Lane to see my meme. I've always loved that she lived on Lovers Lane in Paris, KY. ... did get to take home the glasses we sampled the drinks in, which is pretty cool and a nice souvenir. After that tour it was seriously time for a nap. The roads were incredibly windy and Chris had to be careful for the sharp turns. There are a lot of Pick-up trucks in this part ...

Surprised the kids when they got home from school and have enjoyed several evenings by the fire pit. I did a slow motion video one night and didn't think about the sounds being slow motion too. Pretty halloweeny sounding Dalene and I went to Indy for an overnight to be there when her Dad had his hip replacement surgery. Surgery went well and he will ...

A fun afternoon deserves ice cream, at least that’s our motto. So we were off to find our Ice Cream Theme for the day: Homemade Monday. We stopped at Sav’s Chill in downtown Lexington and got our second fun surprise. We were waited on by Sav himself. It turns out he doesn’t make the ice cream there at the shop as we had thought, but his buddy makes it not too far away. Sav is originally from ...
