We also toured Woodland Bourbon Distelleries. Fascinating history back to 1825 and through prohibition. Learned that Bourbon is a whiskey but distilled in new charred oak barrels for 6-10 years. Tasted some of the fine nectar! And bought a bottle of the double ...

A couple of things I forgot to mention in my last blog. They make a garland of 3000 red roses which is draped over the winner of the Derby. On the funnier side - I sent my jeans to be laundered and they came back today STARCHED. I'm not sure I'll be able to walk after squeezing myself into these very very, very stiff jeans. Should be interesting!! ...
