The Grand Canyon is so large that it is difficult to get your head round it in a quick visit such as we had. However, the train ride from Williams is quite a bit of light hearted fun and Williams itself is faomous for it's location on the route 66.

Williams is about 7000 ft above sea level and after experiencing temperatures in the mid 20s everywhere else we've been it was a big change when the mercury plummetted down to 0 degress celcius and less.
