    Waste of time!

    ... little things with quality of construction/work on the new unit. Wood finish much nicer on Max; WTH! There's a hole in the floor beside the passenger slide.....told that was so techs could get to water lines and electric lines if needed to repair them (put a piece of carpet there to cover it up); wood used in drawers felt thinner.

    Finally ready to leave ...

    ... guide' to our spot which was long and level, but narrow. Had to swing the coach out on a narrow entry road to get it between the concrete pad and electric post. There was a 3 ft high set of 4 metal electric pipes beside the entry road that I caught the back end of Max on. Wouldn't have been bad except it had been hit before and the top was bent out and the ends were rolled up. So Max now has a 'boo'. Nothing major, but an irritant.

    ... changed four times since the original was first made in 1846! We gotta wonder.....what's wrong with keeping the original?

    Since the mid-afternoon temps were into the 90's, we needed a treat. On the the way back to the Walmart parking lot it was decided to get a fresh banana shake from Zackby's.... went to the drive-thru.... ordered one shake each [should have been two!]..... ...

    ... tried to do a 180, getting whacked on the head by branches and running straight toward submerged trees. Rob and my instinct was to grab the throttle off Phoenix and/or yell at him to straighten up!, while Vic remained impassive and calm - "Can't argue with the captain".
    After 30 mins of down stream and night approaching Hils managed to get a word in and wisely suggested we turn around and maybe fish a bit. ...

    ... really just felt like a swim. I didn't want to swim on the beach at the national seashore however, those on the beach here seemed like old oddities, I went to the public beach just outside the seashore gates. I took a quick dip, splashed around for a little bit then went back to the car. I did the classic "change wet clothes under a towel" trick in the car park.
