Landed in DFW, got a fun ride with a religious Pakistani Taxi Driver who spoke about the principals of Islam for the duration of the ride. It was actually pretty cool since I am quite ignorant about Islamic beliefs. He really did clarify some misconceptions about Islam. It's a good religion as far as religions go. I know that my year in Germany will be the best year of my entire life and I'm so excited to make it happen. It may be far away, but sometime's distance brings things together. Life is going to change starting now and I couldn't be more ...

    Don't Mess With Texas!

... set off fireworks in an apartment car park and was taken to see the best view of the skyline all lit up at night. Now, skylines are generally all pretty similar, and my heart will always belong to Chicago's, but daaaamn Dallas's is a lot brighter and far more colourful! There's some ginormous lighted ball tower, a building all outlined in green, their pretty new white bridge and of course, the Omni Hotel; the entire side of which is lit with ever-changing stripes ...
