Historical Traveler Reviews Royal Celebration Inn on Lake Cecile Orlando

      Wonderful Stay

      from

This hotel was really nice, and close to many of the attractions in the area. Really good breakfast, shuttle to disney, and also had a nice view of a lake. Recommend this hotel for future visitors.

      Excellent Value

      from

This hotel was really nice, it had good rooms and a great view of a lake with jet ski's and a pool. There was also a restaurant inside, and it was close to a lot of area attractions as well. Good choice to stay at if in the Kissimmee/orlando area.

      Great Hotel

      from

This hotel was wonderful to stay at. It had a great view of Lake Cecile. The lobby and rooms were wonderful. And the restaurant inside was really nice too. Located near Disney World and a lot of other attractions! Suggest you stay here next time you are in Orlando!

      Just OK.

      from

My visit was luck of the draw. I booked my visit throught priceline. Not exactly what I expected. Pictures of room and hotel were not how they appear on the website. Bathrooms were not cleaned very well. Breakfast was ok-they did serve huge waffles. Pool was kept very clean and has nice view of Lake Cecile (which is a VERY small lake).

      Don't stay here

      from

Wellesley Inn is small, dirty, and more like a motel. There was no water pressure, the toilets didn't flush and employees were throwing beds onto the ground from the balconies above. Beware if you are thinking about booking through Priceline. This "hotel" was gross.

I loved the Quality Inn at Lake Cecile

      from

I went on vacation in Orlando with my daughter and stayed at Lake Cecile and found it to be absolutely delightful for the price! There is a tranquil lake out back (hence the name) where you can water or jet ski for a small price. It's convenient to shopping, major attractions and restaurants. Although there is a restaurant on site it was rarely open, however, there are so many places to eat all around I hardly noticed.

      Quality Inn Lake Cecile

      from

Myself and my friends stayed at the Quality Inn at Lake Cecile last summer, and found it to be great value for money. We had a large room, a balcony, a well maintained bathroom, and our room was generally very comfortable and clean. The hotel has a restaurant/cafe which provided us with breakfast both mornings we were there, and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to use the pool as it rained the whole time we were in Orlando, but it looked to be of decent size, clean and safe. All in all we were very impressed with what we paid, in comparison for what we got at this hotel, and would stay there again.

      Quality inn at lake cecile..

      from

We stayed in the quality inn at lake cecile this summer for a few nights and found it perfectly comfortable and enjoyable for the price we paid. The room was quite big, bathroom nice, and the surrounding area of the hotel well situated, and we felt very safe there. The hotel staff were also very efficient and friendly, and although we only saw the restaurant open for breakfast, there was plenty of other places to eat very close by. We would stay there again, and were impressed by the value for money.

      Just ruined our vacation

      from

The pictures look nice...Don't they always! My husband and I stayed here last year with our three year old. First of all, if have small children it's not a good benifit to "have a balcony" Small kids could just easily fall right off due to the way the structure is made. So I was always panicing everytime I wanted to have some fresh air. There was hair on the bathroom floor(I won't mention what kind) when we checked in. And it was still there the day we left! They had a restaraunt that was never opened, it may have been due to 9/11 because the crowds were down but they at least could of gave us notice of certain things I mean we were paying for ALL of the benifits of this hotel not. OH Guys the TV sucked so don't think of relaxing and watching the Bucks game.....Just remember cheaper NOT better!!!!

      Good hotel for the price

      from

My husband and I just got back from Florida. We spent 2 nights at the Quality Inn Lake Cecile. This hotel is a good hotel for the price. The room and bathroom were fairly large, very clean and in good condition. The hotel employees were friendly and helpful. There is a small pool and you can also rent jet-skis or go waterskiing. One caution - Lake Cecile is a VERY small and not particularly clean lake. I would call it a pond at best. We thought it would be larger with more watersports and were a little disappointed. However, all in all it was a pleasant stay.

... days so I wasn't shocked about how much is was going to cost.

I walked in after paying and I got my map which was definitely needed because this park was huge! I was going to be a big day of walking around and doing things. The park was so clean and had a lot of staff on and heaps of little attractions and mascots walking around for people's entertainment.

... It was so enlightening and with the group of great girls I was with, the day was absolutely fun.

Tanya then took me to the Air Force Academy Chapel and as many of you know, I have ROTC background from high school. The second we stepped foot on the property, I could hear the cadence of the cadets: "Left, right, left, right." It brought me back to my unit's competition days and made me wonder if maybe I would've chosen a military career whether I would have ended ...

Orlando and free Botox in the fountain of youth

A travel blog entry by isy14 on May 31, 2014

The drive to Orlando was quite long but we entertained ourselves with crisps and 20 questions. Arriving in the city, we were surprised to find that there really is not a lot to do here. Disneyworld sort of steals it's thunder but I can understand why no one goes there. McDonald's and bars; the city is really lacking in culture and doesn't seem to have a pronounced city centre. We decided to attempt to cook some of the 40cent can meals that we bought from this amazingly cheap place ...

... new Festival of Fantasy parade, then finished off the day with Wishes. Such a busy day but so worth it. Even managed to get a nice picture in front of the castle with Will which is what I was hoping for from the start. AND I even got to introduce Will to his biggest rival, the Mouse himself. They shook hands, Mickey did a magic trick, we smiled for the camera and left feeling pretty darn magical. The boss isn’t that bad really.

We woke early, nicely refreshed this morning (except that my arm is mega sore from my tattoo!) and eager to get into Universal Islands of Adventure! We stopped around the corner to get some gas and then raced to the theme park to try and beat the crowds. We were lucky in this respect, and found ourselves at the head of the queue. We waited for nearly an hour for the gates to open, but once they had, we followed Laura’s usual plan of action and raced to the ...
