... then went up to the Mission Santa Barbara for a visit there. It is quite large and also suffered some damage in 1926. It had a super laundry area which I reckon would have competed with the Glasgow Steamies! We set off South again . The beaches all looked great and there were 7 oil platforms out in the bay. Back on Hwy1 we could not see Faria beach because of the RVs parked all along the road. We stopped off in Ventura to get some cash and found a great All American Diner. ...
