    ... not one, but TWO accidents on the 405 freeway and it took almost an hour to get up to the docks. Well you can imagine our relief when we pulled up and they took our checked baggage and told us we were there in plenty of time to check in.

    ... so I could find some ghd straighteners and new tops. Again I got quite a lot of blank looks when asking, apparently they call them flat irons here. We did manage to find some eventually but then I remembered about the plug and voltage.
