    The trip from Dubai to Melbourne was a 14 hour stint this time, no leg stretch stop in Singapore. e sat on the tarmac for way too long, getting utter and hotter with the air vents struggling to cope with the 40+ deg heat pounding the outside of the plane.     ... was whiling his time away up there (??), we reconsidered our plans and the kids were to head straight for Mansfield (rather than camp an extra night in bad weather) and we would turn south and continue on the final leg of our journey a day early. There would be no more 4WD tracks for us which would make Colin's hub very happy!

    ... rough this morning and I need to travel to Ian's place today which is about 2 hours on a train! We know what my track record of being on a train hungover! At least I can sleep on there cause I've only had about 4 hours!! Oh and I have a mozzie bite on my forehead!! I know it's because it's so big they were attracted to it!!!     ... so when we arrived in Renmark and the Big4 caravan park wanted $61 for the 4 of us for an un-powered site, we went to the caravan park next door and got a cabin for the night instead for $100. We watched the grand final and had a quiet afternoon having a few alcoholic beverages.
