Drove 320 miles from Columbia, MO to Santa Claus, Indiana. As we were driving through St. Louis, we stopped at the Arch, which was right near the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium. Briefly visited the museum under the Arch, and then had lunch at Caleco's. Stayed at an adorable campground/RVpark called Lake Rudolph in Santa Claus, Indiana, which as you can guess, is a Christmas-themed ...

The original post office was also restored to its original form. We tried twice to get into the museum, but found it closed both times, but ...

Yesterday, we left Cahokia and drove to Santa Claus, IN. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

We selected the Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort as our new temporary home for the next few days. When we arrived, we were amazed at the huge check-in area (four long lanes dedicated to just checking in RVs and campers), and hundreds of golf carts waiting to be rented. We then learned why. The resort is located next door to Holiday World ...

    One cold night

It has just been getting colder and colder since I got here! When I woke up this morning it was only 10 degrees. My bag is a15 degree bag and was not doing the job. With all of my thermals on and an extra blanket I managed to stay warm through the night. I tried hiking around the camp to get warm without success so I drove into ...
