... woodpeckers, a cardinal, and a house finch just this morning.

Ducks came to visit and so did Canada geese, which remind me of flying dogs that bark as they go overhead to the lake.

I’ve enjoyed the two swans on Lake Success, who glide by unperturbed, unlike those quacking ducks, murmuring their disapproval at my staring.
