Today was perfect. Sunshine and warm breezes made for a great day at the beach. There was a short shower at lunchtime , perfectly timed. ... there were a total of 4 kiwis, 1 Swiss, a couple English on our tour, the rest- all Aussies. Apparently this is quite common on these tours- it's does make us a bit of a minority!! 3) there are only 9 guys on the tour making a rather steep gender imbalance.... Something I'm pretty sure they guys don't mind!! So far on the contiki, we have spent a day and night in New Orleans, a night in Panama City beach and two Orlando. On we went to the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jnr Bridge, a most impressive structure of huge proportions, 8 lanes wide and 2 very high suspension arches supporting the massive solid cables which hold the bridge deck up.This has to rank right up there with the biggest of hydro dams for engineering accomplishment!
