Ones of note for us were Norway, where we went on Maelstrom, a nice log ride through history; Mexico which had a lovely indoor night market; Japan, had a gorgeous waterfall, with koi and a mother and baby ducks. ... we liked ours much better. Then we went off to the mini golf. There are 2 courses and we chose the “Gardens” one which was more whimsical. Each hole had a cute little verse about how to play it. There was a family of 4 ahead of us and we were stalled at a few holes but mostly it went smoothly. It was a lot of fun, until I whacked my ball into the water on the 17th hole. Pete took an early lead but I managed to get in 3 lucky ...

If you carry your momentum (as I tend to do) you achieve significant lift off on the third drop - I was airborne for a least a couple of seconds and my landing back on the slide could be heard beyond the bottom of the slide...Again you pick up back ...

I did have some doubt that the accents of the people working in the shops were real - but then I hear several of them speaking to each other in their native tongues. That's just crazy. I spoke to Ian about it and he said you can actually get visas to work here if they need someone for a specific country... What the!
