... been $200 for our family and Nicholas, Levi and Aliya could not do much as they were not tall enough. Why pay $200 for Kiara to have some water slides?!? So we ended up at the Sea Lion Show and the aquarium. Brent and I also went on a date! We often go to the dinner theatre for our dates and there was one here. So we took the kids. They LOVED it.

And finally . . . Well here we are at the end of our trip! It has flown by, but we have had a fantastic time :-). We are currently sitting on the terrace of the Fairmont Macdonald hotel in Edmonton on our last full day here. It has been a real scorcher and we are cooling down with some lovely cold drinks :-). The cinema was actually beautiful and even more luxurious than back home! It was comforting in a sense. Another night ...

Today is the first day of our holiday and we are really looking forward to it. This year we are flying from Grande Praire with a stop over in Edmonton. We thought that it would be more relaxing to drive only 200 kilometres than five. Either way we would have a stop in Edmonton both ways. The drive was broken into two parts as we stopped at Ann's parents for breakfast, hot cross buns; it is Good ...

... for that, it's not the most interesting thing to read. Or maybe it is, I don't know.

What I am certain of is this: we traveled a grand total of just under 18,000km by plane, train, and automobile, over the course of a 28 day long journey that took us to nine cities in four countries. That's not counting the journeys by London Underground or Paris's Metro system, cab rides, or the hours of walking we did in each city we visited. We had very early mornings ...
