We pulled into the Amarillo Ranch RV Park later in the afternoon. We have stayed here in the past and it's a very clean, friendly, reasonable and easy off / easy on interstate park.

... driving to Texas today and decide to stop at Amarillo. My internet research shows that there is suppose to be some ranches close by where we can do tours of the local canyon and and watch cowboys and cowgirls do their thing. But as we inquire at reception of the Fifth Season Inn we are told that there are no ranches that do that around here. Its all a myth, boo.

Its late when we get there so we look around for a place to eat. While we're in reception we see a limo waiting ...

Explored Santa Fe in New Mexico in the morning. Really pretty city with a proper Mexican architecture to it, especially the old downtown plaza. All the buildings are brown and look as if they are made of a clay mud like the house anakin Skywalker lives in I think. It's a wealthy place with loads of art galleries and nice restaurants.
