Sleeping Bears
... down you have to come back up!! We also went to the back side where people and kids can climp up and down as much as they like.
We rode on the coast around the park and went to the Historic area but it was closed so we continued along the Bay and down some dirt roads that lead to some nice beaches and ended up in Traverse City. We walked around and had a late lunch returning to the motorhome by scenic back roads.

Elk Lake final day
... lake fishing and having a great time. Although the catch was small, not enough for dinner, they made many memories that afternoon.
Tomorrow, Saturday, we are heading back to Wooster, OH. We will be home three days, then off to Branson, MO for Keith's military reunion.

Elk Lake day six
... Hotel is in order. :-) After several hours, we took the ferry back to Mackinaw City. It was a very exciting ride as the wind had created 3-5 foot waves on the bay east of the Mackinac Bridge.
After a two hour drive to Elk Rapids, we had dinner and called it a day.

... the dunes have vegetation that helps to prevent wind erosion.
We had another leisurely evening around the campfire and great dinner prepared by Darryl on the grill. We are getting SO SPOILED!
