      ... We walked the manicured grounds & watched as people in white played croquet with huge 4 x 4 mallets!! (Look carefully at the photo you an see a mallet standing on its own! ) I had to ask if it was called croquet because they where so big & heavy. I thought it was really funny!       ... hole in the wall called MaRandys that made classic southern food. Chris ordered fried catfish and rice with cornbread, collard greens and yams. I got Fried chicken and rice with cornbread, mac n`cheese and buttered beans. Everything was delicious but it was enough to feed 4 people so we saved half of it for the next day. Also never order a large drink from a restaurant in the USA, you will get a bucket! Lesson learned. We walked off the food as we went ...

      ... be back this way late next year, but really have no firm plans. We've managed to make room in the freezer for two, 5 pound boxes and we will try to make them last us until we are next back in this area. They will be nestled in next to the Lockeford sausages we have been rationing since we left Lodi, California almost a year ago. That's another story and one I will share with you at a later date!
