... online. Somehow, I found the Travel Insider web site and the package featured several things that sounded appealing - discounts, add-ons, a great itinerary, and a cruise company that we had used before & enjoyed very much. I also spoke to the "host" - the Travel Insider himself - and found him to be pleasant, well-informed, and enthusiastic about the trip.

An auspicious start, I thought.
Ocean City, New Jersey, United States gus_me

We left Portsmouth about 8 am and had a pleasant drive, crossing Chesapeake Bay via the tunnel/bridge to the Eastern shore of Virginia, continuing up the Eastern shore of Maryland and into Delaware to Lewes where we boarded the Cape May Ferry. It makes an 80 minute trip between Delaware and New Jersey. After 90 minutes we disembarked the ferry and tried to leave Cape May. Lori ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States concerto33... I made sure my wallet was still in my pocket ) lol. The Chestnut Lake park is just so-so. In our opinion this park is a place to stay for sightseeing and sleeping. The grass is not mowed, the bugs are horrible and the Rv sites are close. There is not even a pickleball court.

On Wednesday we all piled in to John's truck and headed for Philly on a sightseeing trip. As Cathy and I were parking the truck the ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States rvdudeAfter another great day of sightseeing in Philly we headed to a Diner for dinner - love it - no cheese wizz this time but great food.
Then we decided to drive over the bridge into New Jersey so we could say we had set foot there and next thing Rosa sees the Alantic city sign and Lucy hits the highway (9:30 at this ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States jrriley8... thinking she'd order from 1 of them. Well, so my dad comes home with the pizza and its from this weird place that no one has ever heard of! We were mad because we gave my mom ideas and she didn't listen. So of course the pizza looks like ****:( so I spoke up and say that i don't want to eat that. So my parents, as usual flip out at me. So I try a piece the sauce had a spicy taste so i get to the crust and it solid!! So i threw it away ...
Ocean City, New Jersey, United States summergirl109The Atlantic City trip was cut short by Rain. When the rain comes we run and hide our heads we might as well be dead... well you get the idea. Anyway we were bummed out because the entry fee was steep and we did not get to ride the boardwalk in the morning as planned. The ride out of Jersey was difficult and expensive. Dual wheels cost a premium every few miles was a toll. We got a Garmin GPS that was flawless except when trying to get on I-95 after crossing into Philly ...
Galloway, New Jersey, United States kingsalt... were lots of people walking. Pinball effect in full force while riding around everyone with the little ones. We left pretty soon since it got dark fast because we arrived a bit late. Picked up a pizza & soda at Boardwalk Bistro before heading to our Navion to dine and leave. The pizza was almost New York like. Best so far we've had this trip. We were eager to go ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States kingsalt... Grrr old Asian dude grrr! After eating we headed to the boardwalk, we had to drive. The adults stayed at the ceasars palace while me, Nicole, and brian went walking around. There's this candy store where you can make your own chocolate bar!! Like pick white milk or dark, then choose toppings, then label it :) I wanted to do it, but it probably would melt so I just took a picture of the store.
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States jaybeebaby... roulette. It took us about 2 hours before we acually put any money down. .... We eventually slept at five the next morning, lets leave the story at that. Well it was just having fun (thats what we keep telling our selves). The next day we saw a place called Ocean City, about 30mins away, a mini atlantic city without any casino's. Believe it or not Ocean City is an alcohol free town, its prohibited till this day. Boring otherwise. We headed back ...
