Our main reason for being in Houston was to visit the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We arrived at 10am and got a spot right by the entrance, because there were not many people there. We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. Second stop on the tour was a building where they are developing vehicles and ...

Seems so far back, we all gathered around the terminal gate after making it through check-in procedures. Our flight to Dubai was to depart on time, and the group was collectively very excited to begin this long awaited journey half-way across the world. I was surprised to see that everyone was able to ...

... cordial tasting pink wine and stale tortilla chips! You win some, you lose some!

Hitting the road at almost 7pm, we headed to Houston, or more specifically to the “Taste of Texas” steak restaurant. Arriving at 10pm, I didn’t known if I was starving or not hungry at all, but never the less, we sat down to order. Our waiter was the most polite man, who gave us each a traditional Texan bandana, which he ...
