    Coming home

This is one long day to get home. Up at 5 am, taxi to the train station at 6 am, train to Madrid at 7:15 am, taxi to the Madrid airport at 10:30 am, flight to JFK airport, through customs and that's where Franci and I parted ways. She flew to LA and I flew to Seattle. My flight got in at 9:35 pm. I am really glad to be home! What a fantastic ...

It is amazing there are blackberry vines everywhere along the road, and ...

Funny thing is they have their dogs wearing life jackets but don't worry about their kids. The salmon were also jumping up stream and it was amazing how far they can jump. There was a underwater observation deck where you could see the salmon working there way up stream and they really ...

... experience for the kids. Gary tried to patch up the gaps so that it doesn't happen again so here's hoping that works. We spent a leisurely kayak down the river into the lake where we watched the float planes land and take off. Again we got wet when a down pour just happened for the sake of it. It does that a lot in Seattle. You dry out quickly but a nuisance at the time. The kids love to swim in the river which ...
