      ... in East Lansing tonight. We are going to take a reminiscent walk through MSU, say "hi" to the Sparty statue, have dinner at our favorite restaurant, and then meet our friends, Jack and Sue Davis, for breakfast before finally heading back to our house in Dundee tomorrow.

      ... word in the book while they were waiting for the police. Other Wabasha highlights included a 599 pound pumpkin, lots of smelly candle shops, a toy museum, and a hay bale maze. Yep...we are in the Midwest!

      We leave for Illinois tomorrow, spend one night there, and then it's off the next adventure...a driving trip to see our son, Matt, and family. We haven't seen Matt since his nephew ...

      Aloha mai kakou,

      I finally got to Chicago...after the FAA disaster shut down O'Hare Airport! The flight from Maui to Portland was typical for a redeye...miserably uncomfortable, person in row ahead with the seat all the way back...blah, blah, blah. We arrived in Portland right on schedule and then had a 7...SEVEN...hour delay! But Bob was at the airport to pick me up so all ended well.
