    ... so far not done so long at once. They watched a movie that helped. We ended up catching up to the rain. We pulled into North Platte around 9:00 with a bunch of hungry kids. We wanted pizza, Pizza Hut it is! With being so late, dark, and calling for storms we decided a hotel was best! I don't think anyone complained!     ... on to North Platte NE which ended up being a 603 mile day and except for the bugs on the windshield an easy ride. This gives me the option to make for home tomorrow albeit a long ride if I go for it - 780 miles. This would qualify as my second longest mileage day sandwiched between the Billings Montana to Albert Lea Minnesota ride (850 miles) and last years Key West to Panama City FL. ride (710 miles).     ... signs that pointed there. The building actually looked like a tiny, log cabin shack. It was situated on one side of a city park. I was originally just going to get out of the car and take a picture of it, but saw that it was actually open! Greg got out of the car, and we both went in. There were things to buy in there.
