      We woke early for coffee on the balcony. We have watched the tides in the boat harbor change each day. This morning there were ducks walking in the exposed mud flat with the low tide.


      The clouds prevented us from seeing last nights rising moon, but this morning we could see it set.

      Written on Tuesday morning, June 3.
      I was up late on the ship, but still woke up in time to see the sunrise over Amsterdam from our room. This is the "last breakfast" on the ship so it is well attended. The ship arrives early so many people are up and gone. Lots of flights leave around 11 am. That would not happen in the US ports. There was no immigration off the ship.       We woke very early and got up to finish up getting ready. Jim picked us early because Delta had added a note when Ed got our boarding passes to arrive 3 hours before our flight.....Delta was messing with us again. They had taken away our economy comfort seats that we bought in August last year and split us up on the plane. It took an hour on the phone to get three tickets together!!
