Unterwegs sind wir durchs weltberuehmte Monument Valley gefahren. Dies ist ein Tal, in dem noch einzelne Zipfel verschiedenster Gesteinsschichten aus dem Boden ragen und dadurch wie Statuen aussehen.

... vers notre prochain arrêt, Bryce Canyon. Pour s'y rendre, on doit passer par un tunnel de près de 1 mile de long, sous une montagne. Le seul éclairage dans le tunnel est fourni par quelques trous dans le roc. La route pour s'y rendre est très sinueuse, ce qui la rend très agréable. p.s. La ville de Sprindale où on a passé la nuit est une ville très charmante.
