The goal of visiting Omaha was going to the supposed best zoo in the world. We arrived there at 10:30am and left at 4:15pm, shortly before they closed at 5pm. It's great having the GPS to navigate us around, and we had no issues getting there or back to the hotel. ... on the flight to Omaha due to supposedly bumpy flight (it wasn't that bad). It's definitely cooler in Omaha, with the temp in the high teens rather than the mid to late 20s we have had to date. We got a pretty good car, a Sonata, from National car rental, and I felt really comfortable straight away driving on right side of road and left side of the car. Gotta say a big THANK YOU to Cameron for lending me his 2 walkie talkies. They've been an easy way to communicate while we're driving. Can't imagine not having them along for the ride.

I forgot to mention in our last entry an interesting encounter we had with the campers in the site next to us. We were talking about where we were going and they were on their way home to Oregon from being in as far east as Schenectady. We mentioned we were from upstate NY near Binghamton.
