    Afterwards we had a chat with a girl named Alexis, who was helping to organise the night. I got a few playing tips from another uke player, on how to play uke less like a guitarist, and Darren and I got a couple of burgers for dinner.

    ... luxury and reminded me of those long ago days in Europe. My excitement of being in the US, and that feeling of being in a movie, was still strong. I found excitement even from small things such as getting onto a train and standing at the station listening to the familiar accents and words learnt from Hollywood tales. I actually felt upset that the journey to Santa Barbara was only two and a half hours and vowed to make the most of my first train journey by buying a beer. ...

    ... be fairly long for school kids so I recommend getting a cheaper flight with more stop overs allowing more frequent breaks. I checked in 3 hours before hand because it was an international flight. As we boarded I got comfortable in my seat and started looking through the on-board movies ready for the big journey home that awaits me.

    ... with his ball and he would go under the ball a couple of times and then take off running through this gate and around the middle of the enclosure and back to the ball. This guy could move. He did that at least 5 times and then he tired himself out. It was one of the funniest things I had ever seen in the animal world.
