We started out at a restaurant called "Brian's 24", a fantastic 24 hour restaurant in the Gaslamp district. We parked half a block from the restaurant and never moved the car. ... He cooked polenta, poached eggs, and caramelized sea scallops. He was very entertaining. I learned the secret to a good poached egg is to drop it into a deep pot of boiling water. Someone asked him where he gets his scallops for his Chicago restaurant. He said he only serves the best scallops and they are from Nova Scotia! We then went to see the Sharks in the Shark Encounter Tunnel which was really good and then went onto the Shipwreck Rapids where we got drenched again - especially by the guy with the water gun half way around.
