It was now the weekend and we felt like we needed to make the most of our time in Orlando so headed to SeaWorld for the day. It was amazing; I had been here as a child and wondered whether it would spoil some of the fond memories I had of the place now seeing this as an adult but in fact I was even more in awe of it. ... airport we had our first experience using the fully body scanner when going through security. It's slightly bizarre to step into this glass tube, lift your hands above your head and have a full body scan. Too bad they can't send a copy to your doctor! ... once we were in the water we realized that it was warmer than being out of the water.
We were not brave enough to take another wave hit (yet) so we went back to the "Castaway Creek" and rode that for a loop around the park. As soon as we got in we were both like... Hey, this water is actually warm once your used to it!
After that Jodie rode the Castaway Creek for another 30 minutes to an hour...I'm not sure because I was fast asleep in a beach ...
... and build your own car (on computer), then jump in a car (for 6 people) and it "tests" the components of your car, like handling in wet conditions, speed, collision avoidance, then you speed around a race track. ... we hit Legoland. Again, we had a great day. It was aimed at kids up to 12, so of course the kids loved it. Amazing lego creations all thru the park, and some fun rides. Matty and I did all 4 roller coasters ( quite mild after the previous day at disney ), and even the others did some of the others. Even John!! Motel was clean and motel had a swimming pool. Reception very helpful and allowed us to stay later in our room to help as we couldn't leave early. Continentlal beakfast available as well.
