    ... there we took it easy and went to Rockford, IL in two days, about 95km. We couldn't find a warmshower host so we turned to couchsurfing. The next day we cycled to White Pine Forest State Park (60km, 37 miles). We met up with cousin John and his friends. We stayed a couple nights, tubed down the Rock river, had lots of fun!

    Monday was a wonderful adventure from beginning to end. After a quick 5 mile roundtrip ride to the second tunnel, I packed it up and headed south east. I drove to Devils Lake State Park, Wisconsin and spent several hours. The area is very hilly, and road very crooked but paved well. The lake is surrounded by mountain sides of falling rocks.
