Another travel day completed
Add Soy to the mix of Hay and Corn. In Western Iowa the farmland was hilly, where the hills were too steep (for horses?) the farmers had tiered the lands. I saw hills with four or five tiers with corn growing on it. A remnant of the past.
About half way through Iowa I ran into traffic trucks, trucks and more trucks. This continued all the way until I stopped for the night. As I am heading towards Chicago and Detroit I will have traffic until I start going North in Michigan...Oh joy!

Dull day in Illinois
... and a farmer's market. It was soo windy, I saved a few market signs from flying away. Finally, I got back in the car and headed northwest.
