D & G had just enough time to find their connecting gate in Newark at a brisk walk.
All in all, G had an absolutely wonderful time and she is glad that she came up with the idea of taking the grandkids to one of her favorite destinations. There were a few things we had planned to do that didn't get done, but we certainly did enough!

... br> Today we hit the trail and took a ferry ride across the channel at Port Aransas. It was a tight fit getting the RV and tow car on the ferry.It was a short ride and then on to Brazos Bend State Park. All I can say is WOW. Named one of Americas top state parks by National Georgraphic Traveler Magazine. This park has 5,000 acres of lakes, prairies, bottomlands and hardwood forests, Driving in through the hanging Spanish Moss is wild.
