... one of the piers, from here you get a really good view of the islands I was at the other day. From here I walked back towards the hotel, taking a little detour down Saint Catherine's street to look at more shops. (There are a lot of shops here, most of them hidden underground) I got back to the hotel, picked up my luggage and walked the block to the bus stop. The bus ride took a lot longer then I was expecting, the peak hour traffic to blame, I glad I left myself more ...

Road Trippin' : It has Begun!

... it was 8pm, and having already walked for over an hour and a half, we decided to wisely start to make our way home. The walk felt longer on the way back, but the hour soon passed and now hear I sit writing about my day (:

So far, Montreal is a keeper. And our accommodation is cheap, and pretty funky for a hostel! Although I have to say the shower was so small it encourages you to get out as fast as possible. Sneaky design!

          Here's my last entry.
We last saw each other on March 22. Here is the summary of our last week in Myrtle beach:
          March 23:
It is raining. But people are wishing Happy Birthday to Doreen on Facebook (all her millions of followers). We go to Barefoot Landing . A special shopping area. . We are almost alone because of the rain (best time to go). We were supposed to experience the Taste of the ...

If Hunger Were an Olympic Sport...

A travel blog entry by carolyn.saund on Mar 18, 2013

... wasn't even that there was nothing to eat! We set off towards the
Biodome via metro, thinking “hey, this is the Olympic Park, a famous museum,
there's bound to be food around here, right?” (See above rant for accuracy of
statement). So with a mostly run-down, residential neighborhood surrounding us,
we went into the Biodome hoping for some museum food. This is where we made the
grave error. The museum had food, ...

Well I hope the title got you hooked with the overall title. We are taking a month break from our beautiful weather . At the same time we will be able to study (OK!! , look at ) and research how the weather affects us. We are reviewing our check lists (small bits of paper everywhere) to make sure we do not forget the important stuff. If we think about it later and forget stuff, there will ...
