          ... golf course they have in the park. This is a much different park than the one we just came from, so we kind of wish we stayed in Ludington, at least now we know for next time! but it was good to take it easy for the day and recharge the batteries. Plus camping in the woods is always fun, even with nothing to do. We really enjoyed our stay in Michigan and hope to come back again some day! Now it's time for the next stop - to visit Marne! ...

          ... any others we have stayed at, so maybe in the end it all evens out. Along the way we saw a huge sunflower farm; just fields and fields of sunflowers; and what great timing because they were all in bloom; that was a first and something I'll always remember for sure. We found our spot for the two nights and settled in, built a campfire, and just relaxed. Tomorrow we'll ...

          ... River and saw Riverside Park which was very pretty. It was raining too hard to get out and walk around. They had had so much rain that the river water was right up over walkways and into the lawn around. The baby car had lots of big puddles to roll through but she did fine!

          We leave Michigan tomorrow and head in to Indiana so our trip to Michigan is "rapidly" coming to an end!

          Being welcomed back on the lot was lovely. We’d been gone

          ... a gas station/truck stop (the chain of stores, J&H Family Stores, at this gas station are the circus sponsors here) so when we finally arrived, we were shown where to park, we bought some snacks and settled in to the Ice Worlds part of the Planet Earth DVD (the emperor penguins are my absolute favorite part of that DVD).
