Pinch and a punch for the 1st of the month. No returns ! It looks a bit gay when you are doing it to yourself. Oh well.
I left it as late as possible to check out of my hotel as I had some admin stuff and research I needed to do. As my flight to Washington DC wasn't scheduled to depart until 6.30pm, I dropped my bag off at the hotel …
... packing yet, I figure I should probably get some shut-eye. If you've made it this far in my post, AKA you cared enough to read the whole thing, thank you again! I'm still on the North American continent, so I'm not exciting yet, but I promise I'll try my best to keep your gorgeous existence entertained. :)

Really beautiful and so very different to anything we've ever seen before.

It is actually missing about 8 feet of the end of the flag as well as one star. These had been cut off as souvenirs during its early history. The exhibit also told the story of how the original poem, set to the music of a well known English pub song, became the US anthem.
