It wasn't too cold this morning, 4 deg, so we had an early start - on the bus by 9.30! Went down town, then caught a train to Arlington National Cemetery. I wasn't too keen, as I don't much care for OTT patriotism and sentiment, but it was quite beautiful. Calm and peaceful, although there are more than 300,000 gravesites. A funeral took place while we were there, the flag draped coffin on the caisson, with 6 beautiful black horses.
My group and I have finally arrived at the Dulles Airport. Now we wait oh so patiently for our flight to take off.
