Panama City, Florida, United States pamericasBeautiful beaches.

Too bad they are flanked by zealots and bikers. Been a long time since I had seen such racism co-existing with constant praise to the almighty (I know, usually go hand-in-hand).

If you are looking for a confederate flag boogie board, they have plenty to choose from.

White sand, clear aqua water...and lots of country families compliments of Alabama. Panama City Beach, Florida, United States lexicon.... I relish the sunshine and the brightness that comes with it. In this northern Florida panhandle we have miles and miles of the world's whitest beaches, a bay and the Gulf of Mexico that are the seat of all the recreation. The Panama City Beach area is referred to as the Emerald Coast because of the crystal green waters. Rae, my friend from Germany who is now in North Carolina, visited for a weekend. That was a highlight to ...
Panama City,, Florida, United States francie... we had a voucher for called "Sandpiper Resort"...and what an excellent surprise it turned out to be. The place is right on the beach, with wonderful white sands, and has several heated pools (both indoor and outdoor), mini golf and all the rest. Given the price ($65 per night) we decided to have a little rest before pushing on, and enjoy some of the last sun rays we will be receiving in a few months!
Panama City, Florida, United States veromarcosThe Marriott Legends is on a golf course, NOT on the Gulf beach. From our condo to the fishing pier is a 10 minute walk. To the beach, a 10 minute drive. We've got the best of both worlds. This morning, it's out to the real beach so mom can "walk the sands." The girls are beaching it while Skip and Gary are ...
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegraTo say my family lives for fishing is an understatement. Mom's father Lew Wright lived on the trout stream. When we were old enough to be "papoosed" on his back, we were out hiking and fishing. Not that we remember any of it at that age. Lew was well known in Western Pennsylvania for his fishing skills. He retired early from Alcoa ...
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... I wanted to watch Scotland play Georgia at footie so I walked to the sports bar about two miles from where we were staying. There was no pavement so I had to walk on the side of the road. Walking is an alien concept for these people, I was heckled and tooted at by drivers on my way to and from the pub, though i´m still undecided if this was because I was walking or because i´m gorgeous. During my "groundbreaking" walk I witnessed a couple get into their car ...
Panama City, Florida, United States alanbruce... The quality and value of a Tiffin is much better than many other RV brands. The people in the RV parked next to us at 'Camp Allegro' had the most precious little Bijon named Lilly that I would have loved to have. Ever since losing Lika, I have to get my 'pet fix' by petting everybody else's dogs. Don't forget that if you click on any of the photos, you can see them all larger and as a slide show.

However, the FL vet told me that the murmur was really bad and she needed to be on medication. I had also asked about Lika's incontinence (I was putting diapers on her at night when she slept on my bed). So he gave me the heart and incontinence pills, which I started to give to her. Unfortunately, two days later, she started having very bad seizures, that didn't stop, even though ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... Snapping Turtles about 15"-18" across, with tails almost the same length and some mean teeth (hence the alligator name), but he turned them all loose. During the week we were there, we polished the RV and did other chores, etc. Yes, even retired and riding around the country, there's still chores to do! Terry also had a semi-close encounter with a Cottonmouth Water Moccasin poisonous snake! I saw one of PJ's dogs barking and circling around something, but I ...
