After learning about how great of a deal the Denver Zoo is, we decided to check it out. In particular, Karyn was excited to see the new elephant area whereas Brendan is a 'big cat' fan. The day started out by scoping out a big porcupine and quickly evolved up to a herd of giraffe! The giraffe were particularly good for picture taking since it's awfully difficult for them to hide.
