In the "you have got to be kidding me" department: it was opening weekend at Arapahoe Ski Resort this weekend. What? I'm craving an Apple Festival when I get home in PA next weekend, and they are already skiing here? Oi! I did not doing any skiing this weekend.

My morning started with an early Mass in Louisville (at St. Louis Catholic Church – appropriate, right?) then breakfast with good friends Greg ...

Then walked the mall again in the cool balmy evening with more buskers and full pubs watching the ice hockey. Staying La Quinta ...

The conversation changes direction and we chat for a while longer and then Betsy remembers something she wanted to tell Colleen - "My friend's boyfriend is from South Carolina, and he knows how to shag!"... it's hard to keep a straight face and we all giggle at the double meaning. Dinner is tasty, I give in and order a burger - when ...

... beautiful evening. Once it got dark, we all went to the patio and played games together.

In the morning we got up and went out for breakfast, and then drove back to Denver. We first went to a place called A Mile into the Wild. It is a sanctuary for rescued wild animals. It is a really neat place! They have over 300 animals, all rescued from horrible situations. The animals can now live out their lives at ...
