    ... the ride, tried to learn some Spanish, counted horses, looked for license plates, and eventually I fell asleep. Chad made fun of me because I felt myself drooling while I was asleep, so I took a paper towel and made a bib. He said I was the oldest person he knew who wore a bib while sleeping. I used the safe word about three times today. So far, I'm the only one who has used it, but I usually use it as a joke because it really does make me laugh.

    ... best on the jagged cliffs. On arriving in Boulder we parked and walked the Pearl St Mall looking at the shops and listening to the buskers. Lots of trees to shade the sun but still hot so we drove off to our motel for an afternoon out of the heat rest. Returned later in the evening and had a very good Italian pasta at the Trattoria Makers Mark.     ... We saw some weird furry creatures on the way and some more elk and deer lower down. It was really pretty, this took up most of the day so when we got back to our side we had a quick squiz at the shops in the village before heading back to the RV park.
