Overall, it's a tired looking place but it's a great diversion to straight highway driving. Cross the huge Ohio River throughout the City. We were making our way towards Lexington Kentucky to do some bourbon drinking but it was still a little too far away to do in a single drive. A beautiful Kentucky day -- started with a foggy 39 degrees but this afternoon was a sunny 60. My plan had been to spend today at the reconstructed Fort Boonesborough, Kentucky's 2nd settlement, featuring artisans and pioneer reenactors.
