... the last day we listened to someone called Lauren Manning talk about her brush with death as she survived the 911 attacks in 2001. She spoke of unmeasured strength and deciding to carry on when faced with adversity. ... the little historian in me! I'm on the 26th floor of the hotel and the view is incredible! My colleagues are here and attending the conference too, not entirely sure I will want to leave them and carry on with my adventure come Saturday, I'm really on my own then! It was an early start to the day, up at 6:00am, out the door at 7:30, drop the car off, and at International Departures by 8:30. 83 Casey Cavaliers players, parents and supporters, all packed and ready to go.
