... not the reptile kind, but a funky little shop that Sold Day of the Dead sugar doll stickers, pendants etc. Coasters with sayings like. My doctor recommends a glass of wine a day....lucky I have 6 doctors. This is a shop to revisit! And, I found a vintage and designer label dress shop 'circa77vintage'...heaven. ... shoes. There are 2nd hand shops where I could spend all day. Oh wow and I would love to buy loads of stuff and freight home. ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs.
