9. High chair - We swear she wakes up some mornings and says "high chair."
10. Hi-ya and Bye bye - She has been saying this for quite a while. Very sweet to hear that little voice and the drawn out words. Very Texan!
I am sure I have left out quite a bit of stuff that she has picked up on, but those are the ones most memorable to me. We are so proud of how much she has grown!
Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...
... the repairman, but it’s 4:00 pm on a Saturday. What are the chances? We didn’t hear from him so Jim manually cracked the slides out with the electric drill. Oh, and by the way, these are the same 3 slides that we just put new motors on before we left. We’ll have to wait until Monday when everyone is working again to see what we can do.

Gretchen's school had field day. Comparable to Spiel- und Sportfest. Katy was in charge of running the concession stand and feeding all the kids, that are running around. My school had testing week and they took test I didn't have to take as an exchange student, so I had a free day and decided to help Katy with field day. We went in the store and got 80 bottles of soda. It was a lot, but the field day went out to be pretty nice despite the rain. Nobody had to be thirsty that day ...
