I followed secondary roads and the countryside wasn’t at all what I’d expected. There were lots of wetlands and acreages with huge uncultivated fields. There were lots of little towns along the way and long stretches of hardwood forest and very few straight stretches. I’d never really envisioned it but it wouldn’t have been that if I had.
We are leaving Ohio today and heading northeast.
Going through Ohio we went through Zanesville, named after Zane Gray. There is an exhibit here for him, but we didn't stop. I hate roads rips because well yes they have good times but this one mostly had bad times. Most of the time we were in the car seeing mountains and a lot of the roads were so bumpy and it made my stomach hurt and it also made my head hurt and we barely ever had silence. I never want to go on a road trip again. - ...
