Our bags are almost packed and Rosie is on her way to Camp Robinson (Ann's sister's place in Stuart). We are about to set off on our first ever trip to Asia, and this will make the seventh continent visited for me. In the catalog, this National Geographic trip seemed like the perfect match for us, lots of temples and physical activity for Ann, and ...

... RV Resort in Lake City are very nice. The lady checking in was accommodating and the gentleman that escorted me to my spot was very helpful. I had never been in a campground where the spots were staggered. It made for spacious spots and easy to pull out of.

I didn't go out to eat, but fixed my dinner at home, watched a little TV, ...

      • Always explore the camp grounds on day 1. You never know what you are missing out on.
      • Things I will remember about this trip:
        • The ravine and hike
        • Rain, rain and more rain
        • The turtle in the turtle hole
        • The pee pee tree
It worked out well for my son's first trip- nothing too exciting was thrown our way but there were hurdles none the less. I would say the first camping trip was a success!

Miles 2,230 Would have been a great morning, if it was not for some loud and noisy kids and their inconsiderate parents waking up myself and the bus driving hippies parked next to me. The inconsiderate family arrived at around 6am and then talked in loud annoying voided, then kept hitting their stupid alarm - to a car that was about 20 years old and beat to **** already! Note to that family, if the people driving $80,000 dollar ...

... We easily found the RV Supply store and I picked up a tube of sealant for the roof. Folks there were friendly. Lynn asked about a place to get some fish for dinner, hoping that they had a Fish Market in town. No such luck, however, but the consensus was that the Wynn Dixie Store had a good variety. The cod was recommended by one portly customer, as the best bet.

We stopped by the Family Dollar store and picked up a ...
