We survived the send off party last night with family and flying friends. No permanent damage was done despite all the adult beverage and we got some good travel hints for Canada and Alaska. A big Thanks to Helen and Bill for hosting and conjuring up this beautiful dinner. Also a huge thanks to our good friends Lynn and Mick and Veronica and ...

Miles 2,230 Would have been a great morning, if it was not for some loud and noisy kids and their inconsiderate parents waking up myself and the bus driving hippies parked next to me. The inconsiderate family arrived at around 6am and then talked in loud annoying voided, then kept hitting their stupid alarm - to a car that was about 20 years old and beat to **** already! Note to that family, if the people driving $80,000 dollar ...

... of fresh water each day, which flows into the Suwannee River. Yes, that's the correct spelling... It seems that when Stephen Foster sought a title for his recently penned song, that he consulted with his sister asking for the name of a river in the southland that he could embody in the song's title. Thus, we have "Way down upon the Suwannee River." But, I digress...
