... thank you very much!). I boiled a pan of store-bought water on the top of the stove and actually made myself a cup. Yum! About an hour ago I really wanted to cry when I first got to the cabin. I had a pretty savage mental battle (What was I thinking?! I could be killed by some crazy mountain people or attacked by real ghosts). In retrospect, I was just being silly. ... a Kala, or a Kara, or a Kelsey? ... oh I'm not complaining. .. makes it easy to remember and they are always great! After ordering a couple of samplers of local beer, actually I might have to do that next time I'm at a craft beer place at home! Hmm mm?

... had Joe and Mel, Lynn's cousin Bonnie and Michael, our nephew over for an early St. Paddy's Day dinner. It was a lot of fun with good ol' corned beef and cabbage topped off with homemade Lemon Meringue Pie for desert. It's good to get and early start for such an auspicious occasion...

We were up at 5:30am and on the road by 6am. Angela got up to see us off which was nice. It was still dark but our lights seemed a lot better after giving the car a full clean yesterday. We took the trans Canada west to Gull Lake then took highway 37 south to Climax. We went through the Turner customs with no worries and they were actually really nice. Yay we are now in Montana U.S.A We then took the highway 241 south to Harlem and highway 2 ...
