A good first impression - I was surprised by a gift bag of snacks for being a preferred customer! The hotel appears new and the room is large, with a sitting area separated from the bed by frosted glass. Microwave/frig/underused hot tub and pool. Our room is ground floor, near exit nd a grassy walking area for Maggie. Coffee was offered to us when we arrived.

The announcer then brought in the flags of each of the armed forces as a tribute to our military past and present. Then of course the American flag was brought in. This was a pro rodeo so the bucking stock were really superior. In most cases only a couple of cowboys were able to complete the 8 seconds.

The warriors also capture a single mountain howitzer dragged up to the site. On August 10th, the Nez Perce withdrew, and continued eastward and northward in Montana. The casualties were significant on both sides but there was more fighting in what is now know as the Nez Perce War of 1877. After arriving ...

... ascent! There is no way any human being on a loaded bike - or any bike for that matter - could have ridden this section. We finally escaped the forest and rode through the town of Basin. Perhaps a coke? Or a coffee? Or maybe a cake as reward for our morning? No, instead all there was was a shed called Dynamic Change offering spiritual healing and the chance to bathe in Radon infused water from the local mine. We decided against either option. After leaving Basin ...
