Although a way out from the city centre, there is a free shuttle that runs every hour which is very easy. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is fairly disappointing and if you have the option of eating elsewhere then I would recommend it! The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

It is 13 degrees (-3 with the wind) and snowing like crazy. We are on our way to DIA (Denver International Airport) for a flight that leaves we are not quite sure when... The flight was originally scheduled for 11:35, later changed to 11:45. This morning we got a text message that it was delayed until 12:45. Minutes later another message that the newest new time is 12:15. Since our friend, Tom, is driving us to the airport, this has necessitated several phone calls this ...

... over to their spot, it was immediately apparent this was not like the tailgates we have at home. First, they have a luxury RV, with all the comforts of home, parked right next to the stadium. Then they set out coolers and tables, filled with more food & beer than was necessary. After last night, I had a slow start, but as soon as I met everyone, I was a happy camper! The icing on the cake was the jumbotron across the way that featured the Red Zone channel ...

... earning paychecks much greater than they could at home. They’re sending that money back to their impoverished families while the citizens in the eastern cities live the good life. There are even major sections of those cities dedicated to western businesses with corporate apartments that put NYC rents to shame. It is truly a nation of dichotomies unlike I’ve ever personally experienced.

... baseball game in order to watch batting practice with hopes of catching a baseball...No luck!!!

We did have an interesting experience when parking at the reserved sites...I had a pass that gave me entrance to Lot B...A red flag soon appeared as I neared the B lot that had a large parking garage and open lot parking too!!! I assume as an early fan, the parking attendant directed me to the garage...Over the years, I ...

We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! We walked through the wind and snow to the place where we were going tubing. What you do to tube is grab ...
