Ok, so today we have a really boring update - we drove.

We set out from Washington this morning with the view of making it to Greensboro in North Carolina. But after lunch today we made a decision to press on to Kannapolis or Concord for the night. As we were discussing out options, it made sense to do 2 nights in the heart of Nascar country, and do a solid 5 hour drive to Savannah on Friday morning. ... Barn. They agreed with the choice of the lot, except for the part about the duck hook drives, but guess we will take the chance. Thursday night, took Mom and Aunt Alice to dinner at our favorite BarBQ restaurant, Richard's, in Salisbury. The ladies love Rummikub, so our evening ended with 2 1/2 hours of the game. Luckily, I managed to win one game. They are SO competitive! Up early Saturday morning to leave for South Haven.
