      soSteve. With Gabriel in tow we set off first for breakfast, waitress was a real case, she was cool and had a laugh with her.

      ... The scenery is also amazing - rolling hills, seeing endless miles, ponds, and everything in between. Yesterday we had a very hard, wild crazy day in true bike and build fashion. We had a 85mi day that started off laying at Lowes for an hour to let a storm pass. We also had "BB Bachelor" where we were paired with a guy that we hadn't ridden a lot with, and challenged to take good pics along the way. My date and I survived a 12+hr day.. More to come ...

      ... I rode with Jamie, Breezer and Carlee. Not my typical ride group, but I couldn't have asked for a better morning. We had such big conversations ranging from movies to the meaning of life to family vacations to poetry, and Jamie, Breezer and Carlee all had wildly thoughtful things to say.       ... and the conversations you have that make it all doable! Today was a great example of that. We eventually made it to the Sun n' Fun waterpark, chatted with a reporter from the local paper, and played on the slides, lazy river, and wave maker before wrapping up and heading into the host site, which was only about 8 more miles away from the waterpark.       During the second world war, Tonkawa was home to a POW camp for German Soldiers and some 3000 lived in barracks constructed there. Most of them came from the Afrika Corps. In November 1943 they rioted and there was one death, Johannes Kunze.
