... The salon air conditioner is working! We still have the fan in the pilothouse, but we can run the boat from inside rather than at the upper station in all of the heat that is going to be coming our way the further South we go.
A beautiful boat pulled out of the marina across from us at one of the casinos and headed into the Atlantic.
Atlantic City was the last stop on our loop back to fly out from New York. We stayed the night at a Casino Hotel.....weird place!
The morning was spent down on the boardwalk and beach. A tractor type machine rakes the beach to clear the debris of the night before.
... the pets we couldn’t… Needless to say we left early Monday morning!
On September 6 we had our second annual backyard bash to celebrate the last bit of summer. It was a really warm night which was great and we were very privileged to be serenaded by Tam. ... ton of cheeses which was great. We also went to the Maple Works place for maple syrup tasting and to buy some jugs. We saw a few covered bridges this day (Gold Brook, Fisher and Foster). We came back through the town of Stowe but didn't really do anything there. After a much needed shower we went to Hen of the Woods for a fantastic dinner. What a beautiful place. Our return trip to AC was fun. It was Orlando (my boss), Stacey (His GF) and Adam who came this time. Me and Adam stayed at Harrahs and Stacey and Orlando stayed at the Gold Nugget. But they wished they stayed at Harrahs, they ended up gambling at our casino the whole time anyways. Once again, I ...
