Our friends coordinated a Police escorted ride down Main Street last night in Middletown Ct. to MONDO, where there was a fundraiser for The ONE Ride. The Police Officers were great... and all over our 14,000 Miles of Giving campaign. It rained all day until we were ready for our dramatic entrance when the skies cleared for me, Purple Haze and a new riding friend, Marilyn on her bike, with our Police escorted, traffic stopping 6 block ride down Main Street. ...

... Transformers watched, Maleficent for sure, but transformers is not the shortest of films. Time for some turbulence to add some excitement to the ride! William and Nico are getting to know each other on the flight. Oh boo, my screen has frozen. Will have to get them to reset it shortly. In the meantime I can finish writing my blog. ... itinerary on a daily basis, seem to be the norm for Rhonda and I. Makes for an interesting evening of planning the next day. We continue to call our way, "the adventures of Mike & Rhonda". We have been doing it pretty much by ear since we started back in the 80's. It has worked, so why change now?

... at 11.30am (because I didn't have to be at work that day, at the forefront of scientific discovery), and got to work. I may or may not have been asleep on the couch when they arrived. Their work took quite a while, and it was about 90 degrees (a touch over 30 Celsius) so I decided I'd do my own bit of handywork and install an AC unit in my room.
