... to many close friends waiving and ready to donate. It was a great night reuniting with old High school friends, family and many many others. On to NYC Thursday to support my Son and his Buddy's fundraiser at Fiddlesticks in Greenwich Village 5-9pm. Leaving Purple Haze in Durham to rest.

... itinerary on a daily basis, seem to be the norm for Rhonda and I. Makes for an interesting evening of planning the next day. We continue to call our way, "the adventures of Mike & Rhonda". We have been doing it pretty much by ear since we started back in the 80's. It has worked, so why change now?

... shopping for the party that night, and had a few games of pool (he won the very first game on the new table though, damn!).

We invented a cocktail for our party the "MARS-jito", like a Mojito but with Apple Schnapps. (To the uninitiated, MARS is the first letter of each of our names, and the drink contains one thing for each letter - Mint, Apple, Rum, Sugar). The drink was a revelation, and none of us will be able to go back to regular Mojitos.
