... and the kids are all excited and dress up with Evie and Rudy, they get on so well and we love them dearly. It's a wonderful night and we check out carefully where the funnel web spider hole is and there is no sign of any further ones. It's chill time and we love it. Regrouping and happiness is on the menu. Thank you to everybody expressing concern for our mental and physical states. I can report a 100% improvement. Sydney is busy but we are a lot more relaxed than the last 48 ...

There is a daily guided tour apparently at 11am when all is explained - not very useful to know at 4pm. He was more about planning things methodically (luckily for his patients, he is basically a doctor) whereas I was more off the cuff. A bit more background on how I was before I left will help give this some premise. I was a heavy drinker; I had sacrificed friendships, relationships, sports and any sense of self worth progressively since the age of 16. I was in work a job that required total ...

I can't believe I've been here a whole month now and I haven't written anything yet. I kept thinking that I don't really have much to write as I'm not really travelling as such at the moment but looking back I have still done so much this month and I definitely made the right choice to come and work and live in Sydney. I'm so glad that I have taken a bit of a break from living out of my backpack. Having my own room with a wardrobe to hang things ...
