Arrival in Toronto aboard West Jet Airlines
Check in after a painfully long wait for our free shuttle bus to the hotel, Cheryl Lee and I quickly freshened up and hit the Chinatown strip mall.
We return, stop to eat at Montana's, expensive and not that good.
A short walk back to our hotel, we lazed in the pool and the jacuzzi for most of the night.
Horrortag

Das Ende der kanadischen Ostküstentour
Seit meinem letzten Eintrag in diesen bescheidenen Reiseaufzeichnungen habe ich vor allem eines getan: extrem viel im Auto gesessen. Flight & first days
... was good, but not as good as we'd expected. Ian had corn balls to start, a very dense deep fried - I didn't like them. I had a green salad, very healthy! For main Ian had smoked chicken with fries and a side of mac & cheese, I had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries. Ian tried some Toronto brewed organic lager by Miller & co which was very nice. Today we will be collected from our hotel at 10am to collect our RV, more details ...
We built this city....
... of high rise apartment buildings right on the water, and so it feels like you could easily forget that the city is on the shores of a lake! I wonder if I had longer here I might be able to get a better feel for the place. I'm off to Montreal tomorrow, best practice my French!
P.S. The title of this entry is totally due to the song being played over the Hostel's PA right now. It's blocking my ability to think of anything smarter!
