Arrival in Toronto aboard West Jet Airlines
Check in after a painfully long wait for our free shuttle bus to the hotel, Cheryl Lee and I quickly freshened up and hit the Chinatown strip mall.
We return, stop to eat at Montana's, expensive and not that good.
A short walk back to our hotel, we lazed in the pool and the jacuzzi for most of the night.

... Canoe Club – Probably the most prestigious and exclusive club in Canada where you have to be a prominent financial figure just to gain entrance. Most patrons are "Traders" and everybody LOUDLY talks money, markets, insurance, mortgages or mergers. And it’s pricy – drinks start at $8.50; meals start at $51.00. It cost us $32 for three drinks. Toronto, Ontario, Canada carrentalsAfter two days of trying to fix the fuse blowing problem with the Van and then getting it fixed; it was nice to have the comfort of a nice home and a BIG bed. Debbie and Evert it was great to be in your home. Debbie cooked a delicious supper. We visited with them, then off to bed for a revitalizing sleep. On Sunday we went to Church with them ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada bdtravels... can swim in the hotel's indoor and/or outdoor pool and play with other children who are also staying at the hotel. And if you don’t have children, it’s still nice to get away from the park-dumpsite in your neighbourhood, is it not? Breathing in garbage fumes cannot be healthy. So it looks like bellboys may be carrying more than just suitcases into hotel lobbies for the next while.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada sqm... I kept focusing on the fact that because of measures like those we have in Canada, we do not have terrorism here and we can sleep at night; the only thing I question is "why always me?" Again, for the fact that I travel alone, it just doesn't look good and partially fit the profile.

I have 5 hours between flights, eat, shop and smoke to kill time!
Toronto, Ontario, Canada banshee... what with still a way to go on the trip, but we've found a great website called hotwire.com. You put in where you want to stay, and it gives you some hotels and what area they are in. The risk is that you don't know exactly what hotel you're staying in, or exactly where it is until it's booked. We've done it for 2 hotels on the trip so far and we've had fantastic hotels and locations for the same price as we ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada allmans... could end up waiting for ages for the next bus! Anyway I managed to get on the right bus and finally we left and got over the Canadian border again where this time, even though I now have clearance to enter the country until January 2008 they wanted to know my life story. Why do they ask what are you here for? what exactly do they think I'm doing. I just got off a Greyhound bus which says Toronto on the front in huge letters and they ask where I ...
