    ... La to LV coach journey did our heads in, imagine that long. It was hell. Neither of us slept really. We worked out we probably had a maximum of 5 hours sleep between Monday and Thursday and that was in small naps of about 20 minutes at a time. It was awful and if we weren't on a budget there's no way we'd of done it. We met a few characters along the way. There was the beaten up guy - this guy had gone to Vegas from Charlston for a family holiday with his girlfriend of 8 years ...

    ... br> Once again this journey was just as boring as was the first section from Halifax and was just flat fields with the occasional town.

    On leaving Montreal we were served coffee or almost any drink we wanted. Then the kind lady brought out a few snacks and hot towels and finally she served us a nice hot lunch.

    With the scenery being so bleak I struggled to even use my cameras and simply tried to sleep as much as possible.

    Somewhere between Yellowknife and Edmonton my favourite newish keen hiking shoes have acquired a squeak.....walking through the airport with heads turning to see where the horrible noise is coming from....and there is me embarrassed with every step! It is starting to drive me mad and perhaps buying new pair of shoes is on the agenda for my first day in Peru!
