        About 3 hours on the road today leaving Norway and into Sweden. Lots of very pretty lakes and farming on the rolling hills. Mainly dairy type farming and corn in this area. Karlstad is a pretty town but there are not a lot of historical things to visit. The church dates back to 1737. There are lots of pretty waterways and canals.         Today we leave Stockholm and head towards Oslo. We are picking up our rental car which of course means driving on the other side of the road.

        ... so decided to get a pizza at a local place. The man behind the counter did not speak english, as only younger people generally spoke english well in Sweden. He asked what other languages I spoke, so I told him French, even though it had been years since I had taken french in school.
