    Woke up in an ibis hotel coz Knaps and I had split up and she had the keys. Got back to house and then left at 11am for the North. That was 7 hours ago as I type this and it is a 3 hour drive normally. There was an incident on the freeway and they just closed it?!     Arrived 530am and was ok actually slept a bit on the plane.... Took forever to drive to the house but Sarah Gemma and Chown were all up waiting for me. We had coffee got changed and then went out exploring the sites! Without knaps that is. We must have walked chwenty Kms! Saw Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, palace, ...

    ... an hour late dropping the car off, and had reached the 45 minute check in time for the ferry. We eventually parked the car and checked our rental car contract for the details of the rental place, only to find out that the travel agent had booked our Calais drop off for somewhere 48km away from the ferry we were catching!!! Well at this stage I kinda lost it! The tears flowed and I was starting to freak out! We ended up finding the Avis car rental place that did exist in ...

    ... was a night flight some of which I slept through. Three science fiction films later and the flight was almost over.
